I'm having major issues on my iPhone after updating to iOS 17.1.1

i am having major issues with my iPhone 12 since upgrading to iOS 17.1.1 today. WiFi is constantly greyed out, Bluetooth never connects, location services say they are precise and always allowed BUT maps and google maps doesn’t work, comes up with “Location Could Not Be Determined”. Had issues with iOS 16 hence why I updated today, any help would be appreciated as am currently travelling and unable to switch my phone

Hmm, if you are traveling your options are limited, but try this:

Restart the phone
See this:

Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Same experience here. Think battery problems started with 17. Still chew through battery life. At home with high performance internet and phones supposedly always connected, I went through 100 gb of mobile data in 15 days

even though usage should have been near zero. Switched of mobile data options on everything I could (not something that was ever an issue before) and this helped.

in car Bluetooth and even usb connection is the nightmare ! Bluetooth suddenly disconnects, radio comes on in car and then Bluetooth reconnects. The extent of this Bluetooth issue was magnified with 17.1.2

looks like you can reset till the cows come home, it won’t help.

seems very clear this is a software issue.

Hey, none of this worked for me, my location services are set to always allow on both Google maps and maps but still doesn’t work and shows the same error message when using the apps. My WiFi is still greyed out and currently can only use mobile data, Bluetooth never connects and is constantly buffering. Had similar issues on the previous iOS which was resolved by resetting network settings occasionally but now nothing seems too work? I can’t be the only person this is happening too?

Initially my phone would randomly switch itself off whilst I was using it, then when it restarted the WiFi was greyed out and unable to connect to anything? Phone has been absolutely fine for the past 2 years with Zero issues…

Thanks but I do know this already and this isn’t what happened to make the phone switch off in the first place. Am stuck with a phone that is now essentially useless to use despite being absolutely fine yesterday before updating to iOS 17.1.1. No access to WiFi, Bluetooth or Maps very confusing ?

When using the phone, make sure your grip is not squeezing the volume and off buttons at the same time as that will start a shut down with the help of your earlobe.

I know what you mean about a useless phone that was good the day before. People don’t listen or read what the problem is. I am having the same problem.

you’re not alone, I’m having exactly the same issue. Thought 17.1.2 would fix it. But it did not. Any resolution yet? Network reset does not help.
