My original iPhone âopening â tone has disappeared how can I get it back?

If you open Settings>Ringtone>scroll down and you should see the listing "Classic". Check there and see if you see the tone you are looking for there. Also, make sure that you have the latest version of iOS installed on your device. They had made a change that removed custom ringtones, but then changed that back. That might help.

I'm not so sure I know exactly which one you are referring to, however there have been some default ringtone changes in iOS 17. That may be what you are referring to.
