Hi,

When we see macOS 10.13 High Sierra mentioned in connection with HP Smart for Desktop and an HP printer, there is often a workaround available.

It may be of interest to note that the HP DeskJet 2700e All-in-One series according to the specifications (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/product-specs/hp-deskjet-2700e-all-in-one-series/2100187844) is supporting Apple's AirPrint technology. This means that printing should not require an extra driver, nor any other software, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

The requirements for the HP DeskJet 2700e All-in-One series and AirPrint can be found in the user guide (page 46) at https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07043348.pdf ("macOS or OS X 10.7 and later").

This means that the printer should be able to work with macOS 10.13 High Sierra and AirPrint after a manual setup. Possibly with limitations regarding ink subscription and similar services.

Additionally, it may or may not be possible to handle some such services via an iOS/iPadOS version of HP Smart, if absolutely necessary.
