Earphones stop working suddenly while playing medial

Hi,

i am using One Plus buds pro 2 with my iphone 13. It is on the latest ios version 17.1.1 recently I came across this issue where when using Instagram my earphone will just stop playing sound if i paused a reel and replayed it. This would also happen if i would also happen if i am on a call and i play media after it i would hear nothing. I have tried changing the volume settings and muting and unmuting. Even though the iphone detects the music is played via earphone it does not play. More over when i switch my earphones off and the re connect them it start working. This is a very irritating issue. can u pls tell why this happens and pls help fix this
