Will be my music permanently deleted?

Long story short, i have to travel China in December 2023 from Kazakhstan, and for visit i need to download one app which is availavle only in Chinese region. I discovered information in google and there is said that i have to change my Apple ID region to China and download it. But before i change i need to cancel my Apple Music subscription. The question is, if i will cancel it, change region to China for download this app, download it and after change back my region to Kazakhstan, will my music be permanently removed? Apple customer support said that everything will be fine, but i want to double check it with you guys, maybe some of you have done this before.

For a short visit or such, I’d get an Android or maybe a used or refurb iPhone, and travel with that. Less hassle. Otherwise, things are going to get tangled. And yes, you’ll need to unsubscribe and let lapse and re-subscribe, which means what music you’ve rented and playlists will likely be gone, and what you’ve already purchased will best be downloaded before switching lest that too disappears.
