Remove a shipping address from Apple Pay

When I use Apple Pay for a purchase online, the default shipping address is my old office (where I no longer work)

I can click on it and change to my home address before approving Apple Pay. But happened twice now, even though I see home address when I click pay, online store still gets my old office address from Apple???

I’ve done troubleshooting suggested here;

-removed address from contact card.

-verified that only home address is present under Payment & Shipping in settings.

-verified only home address is present on appleid.apple.com.

as it is right now, I can’t find my old work address listed anywhere on my phone or on apples various websites.

but still, every time I use Apple Pay for online purchase, the default address that pops up is that old work address.

Any ideas?

I found a way: I went to a site that accepted applepay. I chose an item to purchase and went to checkout using ApplePay. On the payment screen that comes up allowing to select a shipping address, selected the double arrows to change shipping address. Then selected "Edit Shipping Address". This showed me a list of all the addresses available. I selected an old addresses I wanted to remove, then clicked on the "-" at the bottom of the list. Then clicked "Done". I then clicked cancel because I didn't want to actually purchase anything at that time.

This removed the old addresses from showing up in "Wallet & Apple Pay" in System Settings. Hope this info is useful to someone!

Same issue here. On my MacBook, Apple Pay settings has 4 copies of my old address to select from, and I can only Add New Address, there's no option to delete them. On the iPhone, the same setting DOES have an option to remove an address, but unfortunately this info doesn't get synced between devices.

It seems like they simply forgot to add a "Remove Address" option on the Mac.

Original poster here:

I can say I only have my new address in billing section of every card.

under the Shipping address as described above I also only have my nee address.

on my contacts and on appleid.apple.com I only have my new address.

Every conceivable place I can see an address I see only my new address.

except when I do a quick checkout using Apple Pay online. Then default address is my old address, no idea where it’s coming from.

talked to Apple support. Their recommendation was to delete all my cards, remove Apple Pay, log out from icloud and reset every Apple device using my Apple ID….

Eh, no. I’ll just live with it and always try to remember to switch address.

Yes, have reviewed all of that. Under the "Shipping address" and the page that comes up when clicking "additional details for a card, such as the billing address, Device Account Number, or recent transactions on this Mac (not available for all cards), click the card," in both places there are three addresses listed (current address x2 + old address). There are no options to delete an address, only to add.

I am a different poster but having same issue - Apple Pay and Wallet on MacBookAir (2022 M2 version) running 14.2 has 2 versions of my current address + an old address that I can't delete. My iPhone and iPad as well as Apple ID all show only my current address (and only one version of it). Any ideas appreciated.

OK, check these three locations please;

Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses
