Remove a shipping address from Apple Pay

I found a way: I went to a site that accepted applepay. I chose an item to purchase and went to checkout using ApplePay. On the payment screen that comes up allowing to select a shipping address, selected the double arrows to change shipping address. Then selected "Edit Shipping Address". This showed me a list of all the addresses available. I selected an old addresses I wanted to remove, then clicked on the "-" at the bottom of the list. Then clicked "Done". I then clicked cancel because I didn't want to actually purchase anything at that time.

This removed the old addresses from showing up in "Wallet & Apple Pay" in System Settings. Hope this info is useful to someone!

Had the same problem, old address in Apple ID was triggering an alert with a MasterCard when added to Apple Wallet, requiring a call to the bank instead of a simple text / email verification.

Found a solution: go to Apple

Maps app -> click on “Favorites” -> Find “Home” or “Work” -> click on the small encircled “i” (information) -> it brings a new screen tilted “Details” -> on that screen click on “Contact Card” -> “Contact Card” comes up, click on “Edit” at the top right corner - and voila, you can remove and edit addresses and other information.

Later saw that you can go to Apple “Contacts” app, and at the top it will present “My Card” - which you can click and then click “Edit” at the top right, to obtain the same results.

Yes, have reviewed all of that. Under the "Shipping address" and the page that comes up when clicking "additional details for a card, such as the billing address, Device Account Number, or recent transactions on this Mac (not available for all cards), click the card," in both places there are three addresses listed (current address x2 + old address). There are no options to delete an address, only to add.

To change these settings, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Wallet & Apple Pay  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

OK, check these three locations please;

Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses

You didn't say exactly where you checked, so you may have already done this but you should be able to go (on an iPhone) to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and scroll dow to Shipping Address in the Transactions Defaults section and tap Edit at the top of that screen to add or delete default addresses.

Is the old address listed in the address section of your iPhone?

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay

Tap Shipping Address and on next screen tap Edit in upper right corner of screen. Delete any address you do not want to use.

Same issue here. On my MacBook, Apple Pay settings has 4 copies of my old address to select from, and I can only Add New Address, there's no option to delete them. On the iPhone, the same setting DOES have an option to remove an address, but unfortunately this info doesn't get synced between devices.

It seems like they simply forgot to add a "Remove Address" option on the Mac.

None of the suggestions worked for me either. I just put my address in twice just in case the other is selected. I deleted an old card so maybe it will disappear in some time as the other person suggested

You can delete your Apple Pay/wallet addresses from your contact and they will be removed from your wallet/apple pay options. Search contacts for your name then delete old addresses you don’t want. You’re welcome

Sometimes syncing can take a day or two. Not sure if that’s your issue, but worth waiting a day or two.

You haven’t read the comments/posts above where multiple members have resolved the issue.

This absolutely works!!! Delete any old addresses under your name in your Contact List and it also deletes them from your Apple Pay and Wallet. Thank YOU!!!

I have cleared out all old addresses from settings > Wallet & Apple Pay on every single apple device and the old address is still showing up as a default. How do we permanently remove old addresses from Apply Pay?
