How do I recover an Apple TV password?
I am wanting tp use an old earlier model Apple TV. I do not have the remote. The Apple TV is asking for a password that I cannot remember. How do I get past this?

How old? The legacy models do require a physical remote for operation, or even to set it up for use with a software remote on mobile (for the 3rd generation models from 2012–2013).

The password is the password for the Apple ID account. You do have an Apple ID account, right?

Or you can reset it and set it up again with a different account.
