The title speaks for itself. I'm currently on a MacBook Pro 2020 and looking to format my 16 gigabyte USB drive to NTFS. I understand I can't do this with standard MacOS so I'm asking if there are any workarounds to this.

Use a Windows computer to format the drive NTFS.
I have to ask, why would you want to format a drive NTFS if you are going to use it on a Mac?

Go and test Paragon NTFS for Mac, Tuxera NTFS for Mac and EaseUS NTFS for Mac.
After it is formatted with a Windows machine, you will be able to read from it on your Mac, but not write to it.
