Payment problem

I originally bought something from an app and then when I canceled it.my apple account started saying please update your payment method and I’m still confused cause before I bought the thing there was no problem. But after I cancelled it.it started telling me to update my payment method and I removed the card and it’s still telling me to update it.and I’m trying to update my apps and it’s either telling me your account is disabled or it tells me my password is wrong when I put it in right and it shows a thing where it says give us the numbers from the card and the expiration date you had on your apple account but the problem is I don’t have that card anymore.so I’m trying to figure out what to do .does anyone know what I should do or have any ideas??

You must have a valid payment method in your Apple ID account to download anything, even free apps. So either the payment method information is incomplete, or it has expired, so you need to add a new payment method→If you need to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support

Another possibility: How did you cancel it? The CORRECT way was to request a refund from Apple. If instead you canceled it with your card issuer Apple had to pay a penalty to the issuer, which made them very unhappy, so the disabled your account to get your attention. If that is what happened you have to follow the instructions here→Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes
