Face ID on my iPhone 13 Pro stopped working after iOS 17.1.1 update.

Face ID stopped working all of a sudden. iPhone 13 Pro has been updated to the latest to the latest iOS 17.1.1. How do I fix this? It is very annoying to put in the passwords on every app that needs authentication.

I would suggest checking in the About section of the Settings to see if the device picks up on the issue. (Settings → General → About). If you see an alert saying that there is an issue with Face ID, it's most likely a hardware issue.


If you don't see anything, try reseting the Face ID settings in (Settings → Face ID and Passcode), and set up Face ID again and see if that fixes it.


Other than that, check if you have nothing obstructing the True Depth (Face ID) camera like a screen protector or debris.
