Where is the swipe up option to locate phone after watchOS 10.1.1 update?

My watch updated to version 10.1.1 earlier in the week. I just noticed that the swipe up option to get to ping my phone is gone. It now gives me a calendar, my fitness, shortcut to text, and the weather. This is all stuff I have in my infographics face. Why take away this option? Where was it moved to? I cannot locate it anywhere. I don’t need two spots for things on my watch for it to take away two. I’ve tried googling this and cannot find a single thing. Tips led me no where. Am I missing something? If it’s completely gone how do I uninstall the update?

But it was so much easier just to swipe up. Why does Apple continually have to take things that work and change them?

To improve them. The swipe up did not work if you were using an app and not viewing the watchface display. Pushing the button works both on the watchface and also when an app is using the screen.

And it is NOT easier. It is exactly the same number of motions. Swipe up and press a button take exactly the same effort. If anything the button is easier, because sometimes a swipe doesn’t work.

I absolutely hate the new Apple Watch update! Why was the swipe option for locating your phone, looking at your battery, etc. removed? I hate using the side button on the watch. Please fix this ASAP!!

Absolutely infuriating in every way!

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. You are not talking to Apple in these forums.

But you can send them feedback via

If enough users send feedback, then it is more likely it will reach a decision maker.

This was probably the most favorite thing about the watch...what the heck Apple??! This is very disappointing

Apple is not here. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Only fellow users of the Apple Watch.
