Where is the swipe up option to locate phone after watchOS 10.1.1 update?

My watch updated to version 10.1.1 earlier in the week. I just noticed that the swipe up option to get to ping my phone is gone. It now gives me a calendar, my fitness, shortcut to text, and the weather. This is all stuff I have in my infographics face. Why take away this option? Where was it moved to? I cannot locate it anywhere. I don’t need two spots for things on my watch for it to take away two. I’ve tried googling this and cannot find a single thing. Tips led me no where. Am I missing something? If it’s completely gone how do I uninstall the update?

Momentarily press and release the flat oval side button.

Yea exactly…rarely does that side button pull up menu to find my phone. Usually calls ems. The most useful feature has become unuseable

Change the option in

Settings -> Accessibility -> Side Button Click Speed

From Default, to Slow, or Slowest, and you will find that you can reliably get Control Center, or the Apple Pay double press and release action every time, and not accidentally bring up the Emergency services display.

Thank you for somewhat of a fix, but we do want it back like it used to be where you just swiped to get the screen! Bring it back!!!

Apple is not here. This is a user-to-user technical support forum.

But you can send Apple feedback via:

If enough users send feedback, it is more likely a decision maker will see it, and maybe take action.

I am so upset since the new update. Please give us back what we all want which is the way it was before the last update. Why do you change things that work right but don’t fix things that don’t work well?

Apple does not respond here in this user-to-user technical support forum. Nor do they read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:

I would note that not everyone wants things to go back to the way they were, so perhaps don't presume to speak for everyone. I, for one, like the fact that I can now access the Control Center from any screen, not just from the main watch face. I think that's an improvement. It saves time and steps.

That's weird I was chatting with support for a half hour regarding this, and they never once told me that! Could have saved me a LOT OF FRUSTRATION! THANK YOU!

I don’t like the new updates either, the swipe button to Find my iPhone was so useful. I was also hoping that the new health focus would give me more options to take control of my browsing, instead it’s just mindfulness apps. The biggest strain on my mental health is that I have to use a smart phone and watch to stay in touch but I can’t turn off horribly addictive time sinks !!

Clearly Apple Watch users HATE some of the changes in this update. They did not improve security or function or anything else. Just some tech bozo messing around. Please put it all back.

SOME Apple Watch users hate it. Some like it and probably the vast majority don't care that much.

No one here in this user-to-user forum would know why Apple makes the changes they do. Nor can anyone participating here make any changes. You can let Apple know what you'd like to see here:
