Where is the swipe up option to locate phone after watchOS 10.1.1 update?

Change the option in

Settings -> Accessibility -> Side Button Click Speed

From Default, to Slow, or Slowest, and you will find that you can reliably get Control Center, or the Apple Pay double press and release action every time, and not accidentally bring up the Emergency services display.

I would note that not everyone wants things to go back to the way they were, so perhaps don't presume to speak for everyone. I, for one, like the fact that I can now access the Control Center from any screen, not just from the main watch face. I think that's an improvement. It saves time and steps.

The update has now caused my side button to not respond. Since I now need that for all of my controls, what’s the fix for this?? I can’t even restart the watch. Everything worked until this update.

Hate the new change. I want my old swipe up back. Any way to get it back?

I loved the battery indicator on the swipe-up! Help! I don’t like this update at all!!

Thanks, it helps to know that you can tap the button on the side. But it was so much easier just to swipe up. Why does Apple continually have to take things that work and change them?

SOME Apple Watch users hate it. Some like it and probably the vast majority don't care that much.

I, too was dismayed but no worries. Long hold the oval button on the side and release; you should see footsteps (Compass Backtrack and SOS Emergency Call) press the side (oval) again and voila!! You have it back :)

As watch 10.11 has taken off the 2 things for which I

bought my Apple by swiping Find my phone and wallet. Is it possible to go back to an earlier version and install that in order to get these 2 things

thank you Bob for that information. I too was losing my mind trying to find those features. It’s not a problem on my phone as that button still works but I can’t imagine if that button didn’t work how infuriating it would be some of the updates are unnecessary and made the Watch harder to use.
