Where is the swipe up option to locate phone after watchOS 10.1.1 update?

I am missing the swipe to do a quick DoNotDisturb as well as the find my phone! All you get when swiping down is notification info. This is ridiculously dumb! You removed a convenience factor that many folks used. I found it user friendly and the convenience factor was great. Now this is the dumb move on Apples Part. PLEASE RETURN THE SWIPE UP FEATURE ASAP.

Thanks! I know this is where you access it after the update. I also had to play the "panic" game with emergency services while trying to make access the panel. I have a screen protector on my watch face which makes it difficult to press the button. The swipe feature was so handy - I used it multiple times a day. I wish they would bring it back.

Do the developers actually test their updates?

how could you take away a simple but often utilised function like a ping for your own Apple phone?

terrible update!

solution… don’t lose my phone (yes) but quickly reverse the decision and make a new update. We all leave our phone in funny places.

find my devices is tedious, and I receive an email everytime I try locate my phone as though I’ve lost it and the ringtone is weak like that of the AirTag.

keep us updated Apple.

my side button is now completely useless after the update and I am unable to access the control center, the workaround I found was to activate assistive touch and set the gesture double clench to open control center.

on your iPhone Watch>Accessibility>assistive touch (enable)> Gestures (pick a gesture)> control center

APPLE YOU NEED TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! Do an opinion poll before you make changes that you think are progress!! Please PUT THE SWIPE UP FEATURE BACK!

I am so upset since the new update. Please give us back what we all want which is the way it was before the last update. Why do you change things that work right but don’t fix things that don’t work well?

Whoever gave the Apple Feedback on this post has not read the HUNDREDS of messages from those of us who HATE the update and want it changed back. This was a FIX by anymeans and has only frustrated those of us who were very happy with our watches with the settings we had. I too am VERY upset at the update and think Apple did a stupid move with this one.

I don’t like the new updates either, the swipe button to Find my iPhone was so useful. I was also hoping that the new health focus would give me more options to take control of my browsing, instead it’s just mindfulness apps. The biggest strain on my mental health is that I have to use a smart phone and watch to stay in touch but I can’t turn off horribly addictive time sinks !!

What happened to the slide up and find my phone option!! That was the most useful button on there. If I knew it was taken out in the update I would have skipped it. Terrible decision who ever thought it was a good idea!!!!

please put it back!!!! Actually the whole slide up screen was extremely useful!!!!!

The person to whom you are replying received an answer in November. The last post before yours was May 20th. It's generally not a good use of anyone's time to reactivate threads that have received the same answer dozens of times and which have gone dormant. There are lots of current threads with no answers that could use help.
