Well it is kind-of correct , if you are talking about the old swipe-up Control Center display, then the dial being the Digital Crown, and the button under it being the flat oval side button.

You're right. I misread it and thought it was another of those "tap the icon on the watch face" posts.

What happened to the slide up and find my phone option!! That was the most useful button on there. If I knew it was taken out in the update I would have skipped it. Terrible decision who ever thought it was a good idea!!!!

I had the same concern. I ping my phone on the daily. You simply tap the oval button on the right side of the watch. It is easy to miss - it sits FLUSH with the watch and below the round toggle button that sticks out.

After browsing this site, I found a solution, suggested by someone else, that ACTUALLY works Below the Apple Watch stem, there is an ovalish button. Press. the button once; the original pull up menu will appear.
