How do I remove an old MDM from school ipad? I deleted the profile long ago.

So my school ipad had an MDM in it long ago. At the end of the school year we removed the profiles. The tech guy said we should reset the device to remove it fully. Now back then I didn’t reset it because I had game progressions.

Now still, at the top of the settings page, it says “this iPad is supervised and managed by …”. Everywhere I looked they say to delete the profile but the profile is long ago deleted and theres nothing on “VPN & Device Management”. Is there any way to remove this fully without factory resetting the ipad?
