Just updated my computer to Sonoma 14.1.1 and the App store keeps crashing on my mac every time I open it.
Is there a fix to this? I tried clearing my cache as well.
Unsure if mentioned because I noticed many people saying that you need to click on a tab other than Discovery to get the App Store to stay open, but if you have apps that need to be updated, you can also open the App Store under the Apple Settings icon in the top left (drop-down that holds the 'About this Mac' pop-up) and it will open the App Store into the Updates page rather than Discovery.
I have an iMac M1, which isn't great by the way, it's running Sonoma 14.1.1, which is mostly okay, but I too am experiencing the App-Store crash thingy. I keep getting this:
I have M1 for two years and I love it, also got new M3 and I also have iMac Intel , all of them have this issue started today.
You're not the only one; I'm also experiencing this weird issue as well. I tried everything, even going as far as a factory reset, but nothing seems to work. I'm sure its an update issue.

I started experiencing the same problem. I've been in a chat with technical support for over two hours and they can't find the problem (or solution).
After two hours, the tech rep just informed me that they have no solution at present. Fun.
That's interesting! I'm having the same problem, and after testing your "pseudo-fix", I'm getting the same effect. I'm on an M1 MacBook Air, which I've had for just over two years.

AppStore App cannot even startup.
Same here, MBP M1 Max Sonoma 14.1.1. Every time I launch the App Store it instantly crashes, the app quits.
Same here too. I just bought my MacBook Pro yesterday updated to Sonoma OS and now apps store crashes every time I attempt to open it...
Hmmm 🤷♂️ I just thought it was very weird that it seemed to happen right after I ran the cleaning process. Sucks that it is affecting everyone else here. Thanks for pointing that out.
Same here. I can't open App Store since today -- it crashes immediately. It is crashing on both M1 MacBook Pro and M2 MacBook Air.
I reported it to apple and got a case number

Same here. 2020 M1, MacBook Air. It all happens so fast, I can't click on anything. But I do see the word "discover" before it goes to crash screen.
