AppleCare carryover to new device

I have 1 year left on AppleCare for my iPhone 14promax. If I upgrade to a 15, will the remainder carry over?

How do I transfer AppleCare plan from iPhone 11 to iPhone 15? I canceled my AppleCare plan for my iPhone 11 since I got the iPhone 15 recently but the AppleCare plan on my iPhone 15 is showing for the 11 device instead of the 15. No. It can only be transferred between units if one gets replaced in a service claim.

No it won’t you will need to call Apple Support and cancel it and if you paid two years upfront you can ask for a refund of the unused months
