How do I update MacBook Air Early 2015 macOS High Sierra to latest software?

I just found my old macbook air (13-inch, early 2015). Current software macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6.

Having trouble to get a download for update to macOS Sonoma.

That Mac can't run Ventura (13.*) or Sonoma (14.*).


You can upgrade as far as Monterey (12.*). The App Store likes to hide old versions of macOS by default, so you'll need to go through an upgrade link in this Support article.
