Missing All Previous Posts

I returned to Apple discussions to check on a post I made on the 16th of November 2023. However, none of my previous posts are shown. This happened before and then at later time all my posts were "viewable" again. Has anyone else had experience with this?

You are most welcome. This is getting weirder.

This morning, full of holiday food, I changed the filters to show post you authored and still do not see that post. However, learning to use filters is handy in some situations like this, Example:

Then I tried what usually works in spite of any forum search limitations: a site-delimited web search using this string that usually works:

Username +"username”+"2010" site:discussions.apple.com

I changed that template to your username and 2023. It still is not returning a Nov 16 2023 post nor ones with your username other the this one. Weird

Have you asker the Mods to change your username? I'm not surprised that the internal search missed something, but the web search is usually reliable.

If a thread you authored is deleted for cause, you will get an explanatory email to the address you use to sign in here. If that is not your usual email address, check the one that is your Apple ID.

In the past we occasionally saw a moderator error when a single answer in a thread from a responder is reported as inappropriate and a mod accidentally deletes the entire thread. You may not get an email if this happens, but that is a very rare occurrence any more with our current and awesome team of Mods.

Thanks for your response Allan.

The Post I was checking back on, I believe was made November 16, 2023; regarding what I thought was strange behaviour from my MBP. The post was as follows:

“Periodically, when I plug my MacBook Pro into the power adapter, with the lid closed the MacBook will start up. Often when this happens… when I open the lid the MBP is stuck on a black screen. I then have to hold the power button down to restart the mac.
Does anyone have any ideas what is happening and/or how to correct  it?”

Additionally, it is good to know that others have been experiencing difficulties with the system. I was starting to think that someone who works for Apple Discussions was deleting my posts…. 🥺

I initially tried playing around with the filters but had no luck.

I haven’t asked the Mods to change my username. I didn’t even know there was an option to contact the mods.

Additionally, I haven’t received any emails from Apple Discussions about any of my posts being deleted for cause.

Any idea of how I could possibly pursue this issue further?
