App Store using wrong email

I logged out of all devices and changed my password because someone tried to log into my account.

Then apple logged me in on the App Store with one of my other emails on the mail app and now it says to update all my apps I need to login with that Apple ID, which doesn’t exist because it’s just an email not an Apple ID.

is my only option really to delete all apps and re-download them all?

cheers for any help

Sadly yes. An App Store app is forever tied to the Apple ID used to acquire it (paid or free). The Apple ID is encoded into the licensed copy that is downloaded. It is in the copy's DNA. That is the only Apple ID that can redownload or update the app. If you cannot reclaim the old Apple ID, you will need to reacquire the app(s) with your new Apple ID. That means repurchasing paid apps.
