I accidentally put the wrong phone number in my Apple ID account

Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details -> https://appleid.apple.com

• (Sidebar) Click Personal Information -> Reachable at -> then edit / update your trusted phone number.

What do you mean you put the wrong number?

Normally, the phone number on your Apple ID is the one tied to the iPhone that your Apple ID is logged in to.

You can't enter this number accidentally. It is automatically read from the sim card in the iPhone.

You can add additional numbers by logging into https://appleid.apple.com then clicking on Sign-in and Security ➜ Email & Phone Numbers. Then click the + button to add another number.

The steps provided by Raicya above do not match what exists at appleid.apple.com at this time. Trusted Phone Numbers and your Apple ID Phone number are 2 very different things.
