Did anyone get a notice within the last 2 or 3 days to update their apple products. 11/24/23

If a email, check the sender's "real" address by doing a click-hold over the sender's address (Apple Mail on a Mac computer).

In Apple Messages, click or tap the disclosure arrow to the right of the sender' address.

What message? Are you talking about an e-mail? A notification? Or something else.

I pretty much constantly have a red badge in the Dock telling me I need to update. Social media and mass media is constantly telling me the North Koreans are going to get me if I don't update. But my notifications aren't yet in Korean, so I figure I'm safe.

I'm running macOS Monterey and happy about it. I have been getting some alerts on my phone to update to 17.whatever. I made sure to click the "Remind me later" button. They will go away eventually. I don't need any of that mess.
