My apps appear in little balls, I need them stacked and larger. How do I restore them ?

Have Your Apps Appear as List View instead of Grid View

I like to have my apps organized, which in grid mode was quite the accomplishment. Instead of having the app icons only show in Grid View as "little balls", List View lists the apps and organizes them in alphabetical order.

To apply this feature (note: this no longer works in watchOS7);

  • Press the digital crown
  • Force touch (gently applying pressure to the watch face in one spot)
  • Select List View or Grid View

For watchOS 7 and above:

  1. Open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch.
  2. Tap App View, then tap Grid View or List View.

You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap App View, then tap Grid View or List View.
