Anyone having any ideas as to why my phone keeps switching betweens apps if I am writing on another. Example; I’m writing this message and suddenly my phone opens my instagram page in front of me while I write. I have tried to google and solve problem by myself but running outta ideas and hoping it can be fixed. I have iphone 14. Updated at night and in the morning problems occured.
I saw on another page someone mentioned disabling the “reachability” setting and it *seems* to have fixed the issue. It was in settings > accessibility > touch section

Thanks for your reply. My screen is not flickering white. It changes apps when I am writing. There was no underlying issues at all and my phone functioned perfectly fine, it’s also only few months old and all data is ofcourse backed up.
It’s great you say to ”always read and understand” but cannot do the same. :) I am 100% certain this is fault of the update and nothing else since it happens no matter what app I write on. Safari, instagram, whatsapp. Doesn’t matter if I am writing longer message the screen suddenly goes to another open app by itself. My phone has never before displayed any kind of faulty behaviour which would be absurd anyways since it is bought recently brand new and is newer model.
All these issues came with the update and I am very well aware that the updates are not perfect and contain faults. I have read plenty of people having different issues and have not noticed anyone having anything similar to mine which is why I am asking for help.
thank you, I’m so relieved to hear others have similar problems (though is not nice thing to happen, very itritating and feel sorry for all who have this. I almost threw my phone when it happened fice times on one short short message). Mine still does it but somehow more random than before.
I truly hope they’ll fix this soon. My nerves are not build for this malfunctioning system at all and it’s making me go absolutely nuts when I have to write longer messages. I doubt the fix would be too soon though.

A month ago, my iPhone was breached by high-level "bad actors." They accessed my iPhone through my home internet by using fake certificates and downloaded a malicious "iOS BETA update," completely breaching my phone. This event caused destruction for me, my family and people whom the bad actors sent texts and emails to. From what you describe, what you are currently experiencing is something that I also noticed when I realized something was wrong with my phone. While I hope this isn't the case for you, knowledge is power, and I would have appreciated insight when my troubles started.

Same thing is happening to me. I can’t finish writing a text or email without it jumping to another app for no apparent reason. Already did it twice while writing this short response.
ugh yes me too! This is driving me nuts. Sometimes it won’t fully switch but it’ll go to the switch between apps view out of nowhere. Really annoying. Hope they send out a patch soon
