MacBook Air M1 2020 changing time back ~13 month after wakeup from sleep.

Thank you for your advice. I tested it connected to the power adapter and it still happens. Whats interesting is, timed seems to get the right time via ntp and then fails for some reason and sets the time to October last year.

If I set the time manually and do the same (connected to the power adapter or not) everything works fine (no wrong time after sleep).

Interesting addition: After switching set date and time automatically and setting the correct date and time manually turning on set date and time automatically sets date and time to the wrong date and time again. The "funny" thing is that setting date and time to the correctly received date and time via NTP fails afterwards.

Thank you for this information. Looks like they messed some things up related to the date and time settings. Google brings up different problems regarding Sonoma and time. So I will stay with setting date and time manually and an occasional

sudo sntp -sS time.apple.com 

now and than.
