Greyed out video in iphone

I have a video on my phone which wont play and appears as a greyed out icon. On my icloud account it has an exclamation point inside a triangle and plays it for 1 second only with no video. Any ideas on what to do next please?

Why does iPhone black or grey out in violent scenes on videos? My iphone blacks or greys out for a second whenever there is a violent scene, like a gunshot or arrow shot, in HBO Max, Disney plus app, etc. I cannot find ANYONE mentioning this online. videos will blackout when playing whenever i play a video on my ipad, one that is saved from my files, it will black out randomly going on and off. i can still hear the sound, but the pic will just come and go. i transfer the same file to my iphone and didn't have a problem watching it. any idea what could it be? i have an ipad 6 mini
