Keyboard broken cant login

I bought a new 2020 MacBook Air M1 and noticed the keyboard was broken so I went through the setup with onscreen keyboard. After setting up I restarted the computer to see if that would fix the problem but it didn't and now I can't turn on the onscreen keyboard to even login. I don't have a bluetooth keyboard or a dongle to attach a wired keyboard, what can I do to at least login?

If you bought a truly new Mac, you should have returned it immediately. You had 14 days for a "free" return for refund.

If you bought a used Mac, you also bought the problems it had and you must now deal with the seller and their return policies ... if there are any.

As to not having a wired USB keyboard, buy one, and a mouse too, both are extremely cheap for something you'll only use occasionally and we all need to own them both any way.

Ok thanks but that was no help, the MacBook is new but my country doesn’t have an Apple Store. Also, in order to use a keyboard or mouse with the MacBook it has to be logged in to setup the mouse or keyboard. For anyone with the same problem I’ve found a solution, if you triple click the Touch ID key it will bring up accessibility options where you can then use the on screen keyboard.
