Cannot choose custom color for Contact Photo's

I've always color-coded my contact photo's with the factory presets Apple provided before IOS update 17.1.1. Now after the update, I cannot get my Contact Photos to match the same colors offered before the update. If I save a new contact and turn it's background RED, the Contact Photo doesn't match it and may come out looking more pink.

I understand I can change the Contact Photo color by selecting Monogram->Style... but those colors are not the same as the ones offered before the update.

Anyone know how to customize the colors for our Contact Photo's and not be stuck with the preset colors Apple gives you?
