Why Avg. Pace in Pool Swim is including the rest time?

Hello everyone,

Why is the Avg. Pace for swimming in the pool include rest time? It would be a better indicator for a swimmer in the pool to have the AVG PACE based on auto set excluding rest time. It would be more informative and useful to have the average time based on swim time for the swimming pool.

-->As you can see below, I compared it with a Garmin Watch, and the Garmin app calculates the AVG PACE based only on the effectively moving(swimming) time, without including any rest time in this AVG PACE.
