Issues with Apple Email alias

I have 2 other Apple email alias assigned to my main account they are the @mac and @me domains.

Since using the new Apple Mail within Sonoma i am having some strange issues.

An email has been received which is addressed to the @me address and i have a Smart Mailbox set up to look for emails that come into the account on any account ( i also have a Gmail account) from certain vendors, and this email meets this criteria.

The email in question is showing up under the Smart folder, however, it is not showing up in the main account (cloud)inbox... and it definitely should so this is the first issue...

The second and really strange issue is that the missing message from the cloud inbox above is sitting in the cloud SENT box???..

Has anyone seen any issues like this and what is the remedy, please?
