Are there issues with iPhone XR battery charging and drain after the most recent update ((iOS 17.1.1)?
My phone drains really quickly and I am now having problems with charging it.

Apple will replace the battery for a fee ($89 U.S.) when its down to 80%, so you will need take the phone into the Apple Store or an authorized Apple Service shop in a month or two.
If it's urgent, you can ask the shop if they can replace the battery now.

What is the current Maximum Capacity? Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Maximum Capacity
I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 11 after that update, my phone is losing charge even when it’s plugged in or on my wireless charger if it’s doing ANYTHING, even just playing music. Also, when I charged my phone overnight, it only gained about 30% charge. I haven’t been able to get it to 100% in days.
My iPhone 13pro was fine until the last big update about six months or so ago, after that my battery was useless, I would have had to replace it if I had not upgraded now, but so far this new phone is terrible, we are all just getting ripped off one way or another.
The average life of a battery is about two years, after that Apple has admitted to strangling the power of the battery to force us to pay for a update or repair, they claim that it is for the sake of the environment?

I've never replaced the battery. This has only become an issue in the pass couple of days.
