iMessage audio / voice notes Audio recording not available

sender claims voice notes / audio are working with other contacts, but not me. this is their screenshot. i updated to 17.1.1 yesterday, sender is on 17.1.1 as well.

iMessage voice notes not going through I see a lot of people have an issues where they cannot record a voice message at all. My issue is, I can record the voice message but it isn’t getting delivered. I am having the same issue with iMessage games. All regular messages are going through but nothing else. Attachments such as pictures aren’t going through as well. Any one knows what the possible cause could be?

Audio messages not working in iMessage I no longer have the option to record audio messages to iOS users. Any help? The record button at the bottom is gone. This is what it used to look like:

Cannot record voice messages in iMessage I can no longer record voice messages in iMessage. I read through many help options and none of them applied. It just does nothing when I hold the mic button to record the voice message. Help please. 😎
