CarPlay connects well, doesn't charge

I just got a 2022 Honda HR-V, and coming from a 2009 vehicle I am loving the modern tech. CarPlay works great, though I have to plug in. It should charge when connected, and the battery icon shows it is charging. However, the best it does is hold the charge. Often it will lose charge. I did replace my no-name cord with an Apple brand usb-lightning cable, and the performance is the same. Is there a better way?

I can only conclude that this mophie 3-in-1 magsafe charger is cheaply built. If you wait long enough, it fails completely. no telephone support. You have to mail in the old product. If you replace it enough times, it will end up costing you another 150$, so why bother? I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this product and apple should take it off their marketplace immediately.

15 ProMax only charges in car 3 month old pro max only charges if plugged into my vehicle CarPlay. I have purchased new cable and wall charger from Apple. sometimes flickers between charging and not with wall charger. It had recently charged with a wall charger as long as it was above 50%. to start. I have taken it into the Apple Store 2x and they cannot/will not admit there is a problem.

Why won't my iPad Pro charge from a USB-C hub? I have the latest gen iPad Pro. Also had the previous version. With the previous version, I used an external USB-C hub and the iPad charged fine. I could connect my headphones to the port on the hub and it worked well for audio. New iPad, not so much. It cannot charge from the hub. Replaced the hub with a new 100-w hub thinking it was a power issue. No dice. No matter what, the iPad will not charge from a hub. Sometimes it will show as charging but if it goes to sleep or if I plug in my headphones to the USB port on the hub, it instantly stops. This is very sad. I liked that my old iPad Pro could charge off an external hub and still run headphone traffic. Is there a special device/brand/flavor hub that works with charging and playing music?
