The maps (including Waze and Google map) is failing frequently. It loses my location.

It sometimes takes more than 10 minutes to recover. I have performed all the steps to check location services. iPhone 13pro. Anyone one has that problem?

For any navigation app to work you need to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on (even if not connected to any network) and a cellular network connection. If you are outdoors and away from “civilization” you need to have a clear view of the sky in all directions. If in a vehicle the phone must be close to the windshield (suction cup or vent mount), and metallically tinted windows can interfere with satellite reception.

Thanks Lawrence. Everything checks regarding your input above and the phone is still losing the GPS location frequently. It’s not my first iPhone, but this is the first time I getting this problem. Planning to have a visit with an Apple technician to find out if there is a calibration (or diagnostic check) on the gos component (if that’s even possible). Thanks.
