OS X 10.8.7 on a Mac Pro (Late 2013)

Mac Pro starts with OS X 10.9 Mine has 64GB Ram 1TBHD But my CAD application ends at OS X 10.8.7...

Is there a way to force/shoehorn 10.8.7 onto the MacPro? Will Bootcamp run the older Mac OS? I really want the 64GB of ram but and other older Mac doesn't even come close to that. and upgrading the CAD is just over $1K.

Help!

You cannot install an older version of macOS than originally shipped with the Mac and a Late 2013 Mac Pro shipped with Mavericks 10.9.1 on it. That eliminates any earlier operating system support (e.g. Mountain Lion). Boot Camp is strictly for MS Windows. Your only practical recourse is to do the following:

Verify that your CAD software is supported on macOS Ventura (macOS 13.*) and if it is, then acquire a separate external fast SSD (e.g. Crucial X10 Pro), format it APFS, install Ventura and then your CAD software upgrade — unless you can find an alternative CAD package that does what you need for less money. Duel boot between Mavericks or Ventura.
