Can I install a newer macOS on a 2010 MacBook Pro?

I have a mac book pro in perfect shape but old... end 2010 early 2011. Is there any chance to instal a recent os? Now I have Mac OS Sierra 10.13. Thank you in advance for you kind answer.

macOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) is the end of the line for all 2010 and 2011 MacBook Pros.


You may want to install Firefox 115 ESR. It's a bit more recent than High Sierra's version of Safari – although it won't be getting security updates for much longer. Mozilla had planned to stop providing them in September or October – and has now moved the "end of security patches" timeframe out to March 2025.

If you need much more than that – it's time to consider buying a new Mac.
