iPad acting fine after being exposed to water

I just dropped my iPad in a sink with water and quickly got it out and dried it and the speakers and charging port are fine I believe. The speakers worked fine just like before I dropped it in the water when I played a video and I tested the microphone to see if it worked and it did. There is no water damage under the screen and no warning has came on yet. Should I skip waiting and proceed to use it?

I took it out of the water immediately and dried the surface and im letting it dry for about 24 hours now. Water got into iPad port I spilled water on my iPad and didn't realize water got into the port until hours later and I only dried the iPad itself. I tried charging it and it's able to charge for a couple of seconds and then disconnectes. There was also water coming out when I plugged it in and out and I did that a couple of times I dried it each time and I was stressed and was stupid enough to keep plugging it in and out when there was water on the port. I know that damages the IPad. What do I do..should I take it to apple? This is a school IPad which makes it even worse.

Top side of iPad fell into sink of shallowest water Ok my iPad flipped off the shelf we of and landed in the sink of 1 cm of water I caught it immediately and there seemed little water on it at all now the volume has gone it works with ear plugs and will sound out phone call and text noises but no volume on YouTube ,music etc I dried what little moisture there was in it and switched it off tried all the hacks ,any tips
