Recent calls red and black designations

Adding to a closed thread: Someone asked why “recent calls” are red or black. The answer given is red are missed calls; black are answered or outgoing calls. Another responder noted that the calls aren’t marked as outgoing or incoming. They are marked - tap on the info symbol (the letter i in a circle) beside the call number and whether the call is incoming or outgoing is listed :-).
