Phonepe App not working on Iphone15

I am currently using iphone15 and on IOS 17.0.3, the issue I am facing is while using this new device for phonepe payments and I’m trying to re register the device so phone pe wants to send an sms from my phone for a verification step, looks like that is not happening and I’m unable to verify and thus use phonepe app. Any tips or help would be highly appreciated.

Update to iOS 17.1.1, check for app updates for that app, and try again. Check whether you can receive SMS, and—if not—then check with your carrier if you’re not receiving any SMS messages. Then contact the organization supporting that app.

As per previous replies, usual is to update iOS (to 17.3.1) and update the apps to current, then (since you’re through that list) contact the app vendor.


For issues involving UPI, that’s specific to Indian banking regulations and Indian banks.


Nobody around here can assist with app-related or with UPI-related issues that might arise.

The app vendor is still the best place to report and to pursue this, as they know the app and the issues best, and can — if this actually is a problem with iOS — report the issues to Apple. Nobody else has the app source code.

No iPhone 17 exists at present.
