new iphone 15 wont backup to icloud...says the device needs to be plugged in, screen locked, etc...tried all of those things

What iphone model and IOS is it?
Ummm.....pretty basic stuff......If you actually read the post above, the OP said that he/she had an iPhone 15. That would mean that iOS 17 is installed.
