I am getting a new MacBook Air M2 laptop, and I was wondering which case would be the best to order for it. I want to buy one from this website (apple) and I was thinking of either the black matt one or the transparent one. However, I am not sure which one would be the best, since I'm not sure if scratches are more visible on either of them or if the transparent one won't get yellow after time, does anyone have any answers? :)

My recommendation is to not use a case. It may interfere with cooling of the computer. I use a computer backpack when transporting my computer. You could get a soft case but ensure you remove it before using the computer.
In addition, since the MacBook Air has no fan and totally depends on getting rid of heat through the case, putting any kind of cover on it when in use is like putting a coat on it trapping heat in.
Don't use cases, covers, or "skins" on a Mac.

Hard cases to me look ugly whilst the Mac itself looks beautiful. Just from an aesthetic viewpoint keep it naked. Get a soft sleeve to carry it in.
