My Final Cut Pro is not working with Monterey 12.7.1 and cannot get an updated version that does.

Final Cut Pro 10.4.4 is NOT working with Monterey 12.7.1, the highest my iMac can go.

I cannot get an updated version of FCP that does. The App Store says I need to update my MacOS.... so I've apparently lost the ability to run it. Any ideas?

Move your existing application into the trash. Don’t empty it. Go to the App Store and sign in with the Apple ID used to purchase the application. Go to your Purchased page in your account. Download the application from there. It will give you the last version available for your OS.

How much free space on your drive?

And do you have any "antivirus" or "cleaners" installed? They may be blocking the download.
