Using EtreCheck - Apple Community

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info. Give it Full Disk Access.

Give etrecheck Full Disk Access before running.

Are you planning to keep the computer after the factory reset?

If so, you can just reinstall the system software by first erasing all the content on the computer (Use Disk Utility to erase an Intel-based Mac - Apple Support) and then reinstalling the system software (How to reinstall macOS – Apple Support (UK))

If you're planning to give away, trade or sell the computer you should follow the instructions here: What to do before you sell, give away, trade in, or recycle your Mac - Apple Support
