Apple Mail crashes when using Daylite CRM

I recently started using Daylite CRM. There is a Daylite Mail Assistant extension in Mac Mail that links emails to Daylite. When that feature is selected, Mail crashes and cannot be opened. When I delete the Daylite app, reboot, Mail works.

When I reload Daylite and do not select the Mail Assistant extension, Mail works fine, as does Daylite, but I do not get emails linking from Mail to Daylite.

What is causing this problem? Is it Daylite, Or is it Mac Mail?

Suggested workaround?

Daylight is most likely tapping into Apple's Contacts application and contacts file. I would make your Contacts edit with Daylight without Mail being open, and then open Mail when Daylight isn't open. I would also report the bug to the Daylight author. Tell them what version of Daylight you are using, and what Mac OS version.
