You cannot.
Apple Pay is not supported in India, as such the Wallet App can only be used for passes and tickets. Credit and debit cards cannot be added.

No, current banking regulations in India prevent Apple Pay from operating and offering the privacy and security it’s known for. Samsung pay is fundamentally different than Apple Pay and doesn’t offer the same features and benefits.
Indian banking regulations do not currently permit Apple Pay to operate in India.

It’s almost 2025 and apple should make Apple Pay and Apple News available in India as we are all buried deep into the apple ecosystem. Apple please to listen consumers we all love your products.
The Indian government is the one impeding the usage of Apple Pay due to regulations. Tell them to allow Apple Pay to work in the country and Apple can happily assist in implementing it and helping Banks support it.
Apple cannot unilaterally make it available, it needs to work with the government and merchants together. If the government regulations prevent it, then there isn't anything Apple can do.

There are two sides to Apple Pay. Merchant side to process transactions. Indian resident side to add a card to their electronic wallet.
You participated on the merchant side. Indian residents want to be able to use their Indian issued bank payment cards in Apple Wallet. This is currently not supported by Indian Banking regulations and privacy laws and regulations.
Apple Pay just won’t work with current Indian banking regulations.
Apple Pay requires biometrics. Currently, biometrics is not accepted for authentication in India. Yes, other lesser secure methods of authentication is possible. Is that what best serves Apple users in India, a less secure method of contactless payment than other countries?
India requires use of PIN, which Google uses. Apple Wallet requires biometrics, which experts state is more secure PIN. There are other issues as well regarding encryption and storage of user’s personal information.
They don’t use FaceID like Apple does. The Samsung and Google Pay tokens use card emulation and Apple Pay uses dynamic tokens. The technology has to be approved by the government and banking system. There are also issues with storage of data that need approval.
Because Apple provides unmatched privacy and security with their payments app and Samsung does not.
As far as I know Apple is not willing to share user data with the government which, the government mandates.
Being very conservative and oldest community our Government Policies are based on post development impact of digital usage for currency exchange , apple PAY will come India but not very soon ( more 5 years ).
My mind not accepting that apple wallet app not working with indian credit and debit card its same for apple company and apple user 😥
At least they should have a wallet service like the paytm in the past, else this feature is of no use in india.
what i am looking at apple is lagging all the advanced features , thats why its secure , its like you sell your keypad phone and say its secure in data privacy
That’s an opinion not backed up with any facts. Google Pay and Samsung Pay use card emulation which is less secure than dynamic tokens. In fact a higher level of security. Card emulation has been around for decades and easily cracked if the device (Android) is stolen or lost. The Secure Element and Secure Enclave of iPhones have not been cracked.
