The issue was in the title but close to where it plugs into my iPhone. There’s a weird bubble. Pictures describe this better…

Based on the image you provided, it appears that this is either a defect or potentially user caused.
Regardless, I would stop using it. Then take it to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them examine it and provide you with your options on getting it replaced.
