MacBook Air water damage replaced keyboard and the keys still don't work. What is the likely problem now?

Hi all,

Yes i stupidly spilt water over my 2020 Air, got it away quick enough, and put the laptop upside down etc and left to dry.

Notice keys were not working sometime after + left again for a period.

Took to Apple + was given silly quotes to fix, with uncertain results, and increased costs resulting in the price of a new one pretty much. Thank you, no ty.

Bought new replacement keyboard and passed onto father in-law. Replaced no problem, but the A+D keys still not working, and that was the issue before replacement.

What is the issue now probably?

The issue is the computer was water damaged. Liquid damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion.
