Shared Library Settings not in iPhoto on Mac.
I have verified i am on the latest version of macOS 12.7.1 but the shared library option is not present in iPhoto settings on my mac.

The Shared Library function of the Photos app was introduced in macOS Ventura (macOS 13). You would need to upgrade your Mac to Ventura or Sonoma to use it.

Yeah I realized after I posted that my Mac is as up to date as it can get. Didn’t realize the newer operating systems were only compatible with Apple silicon. Pretty big bummer since my 2016 MacBookPro is still going strong.
There are still some Intel-based Macs capable of running current macOS versions. My 2019 MacBook Pro 16-inch (Core i9) is running Sonoma and Shared Library just fine.
