Not able to edit my own playlist

Apple Music won’t let me edit my own playlist after updating my phone to the ios17.2. I was just able to edit and add music to it yesterday and today so I’m relleno confused on why I can’t now ?

This might work

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Go to Settings > Music, and tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.
If you already have music on your device, you're asked if you want to keep the music that's on your device.
If you choose Keep Music*, the music from your device adds to your iCloud Music Library.
If you choose Delete & Replace, the music on your device is replaced with the content from your iCloud Music Library.

I have encountered the same issue. It looks like Apple is forcing you to have to sync your music in order to edit playlists. This creates a big issue when you have music for teaching various programs that have been modified from the originals. Apple overwrites them to their version. Any ideas on how to get around this would be appreciated!
