PDF format to Pages format

I have a PDF file id like to edit. But of course, I need to open it in Pages to do that. How do I do that.

Do you have the original document and application from which that PDF was generated? Best to start there and re-generate the PDF, or if you have access to Adobe Acrobat Pro, or another PDF editor, you may be able to directly edit and resave that PDF.

You can open that PDF in MS Word 16.31 or later and Word will convert it to a DOCX which after saving, you may then open in Pages, make appropriate edits, and then export back to PDF.

In either preceding paragraph, the assumption is that the PDF is not password restricted to opening or editing, for which you do not have the password.
